This work reports on design and experimental characterization of electronic units to be used as terminal loads for a multi-pair cable (bundle of twisted-wire pairs). Aim of such terminal units is to allow for measurement of the common and differential mode voltages induced by external radiation across the loads of the cable under test. The units here considered involve the use of RF transformers and RF detectors, and are characterized in terms of input impedances, balancing, and crosstalk.
