Composites have been used in industry because of the advantage of lightweight and high strength. It has raised attention for its excellent performance which are widely researched in various countries in the world, such as USA and Germany, and applied in fields such as automobiles and aviation. Based on the study of international and domestic forming technology for composites, this paper gives an analysis on the features of the current typical 3D weaving forming technology, indicating the direction of the development of the 3D weaving forming technology for composites in the future.
