We report on the thickness dependence of THz modulation efficiency in an organic phthalocyanine (CuPc) film on a Si wafer. The modulation efficiency is also associated with the inorganic semiconductor substrate. This finding confirms that the THz modulation is caused by the injected carriers, excited by optical excitation, into the CuPc film.
