The paper deals with an optimal choice of statement of the on-line state estimation (SE) problem for electric power systems (EPS). The solutions to the problem should be accurate and the time required to obtain them - fast. The work suggests a combination of dynamic and pseudodynamic algorithms to be applied for EPS state estimation.
