Wood Engraving is an ancient and unique form of folk art, which is evolved and formed with the New Year custom in the long history of the years. As the China folk cultural heritage, Zhu Xian town's New Year's painting have distinctive regional characteristics, complete program guidelines and unique visual language and printing technology. The topics and details of it have always been closed to folk customs; the shape of it has won the public's favorite; the color of it has added luster for people's home and brought propitious and the jubilation. The unique visual language of Zhu Xian Town's New Year's painting has a profound impact on the folk culture and modern design.
