Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a fast emerging field and it is also gaining lots of attention from research groups and the real users. Power is very important factor in WSN because the sensor nodes have limited battery support. We propose (XLE2R) algorithm which depends on interaction from different layers in order to gain longer lifetime foe sensor networks. The mechanism is based on routing decision which is made with the knowledge of source and the destination node. The simulation results shows that out XLE2R algorithm provides good scheme for prolonging the lifetime of wireless sensor network.
