A simple robust preview control system theory is synthesized for DC motor drive speed control. It proceeds to find future values of desired and disturbance signals which are needed for improving robustness and control system performance. The dynamic equation of a separately excited DC motor is introduced as the basis of a constant field current system. Simulation results are used to investigate the effectiveness of the above technique. Experimental results prove the effectiveness of the proposed controller
