This paper discusses the important role that workflow theory plays in the automation management of safety business process in the coal mine. It unifies the service rule and security information using a mathematical tool for Petri nets to enhance the system's adaptability and flexibility. What's more, it realizes the closed-loop control of the security information and better remedies the deficiencies in current security management based on the control theory. It provides a fast, accurate and automatic information management model. Thus, it offers a better solution to security management and the prevention of accidents in coal mines based on the application of GSM short message wireless platform.
