It is necessary to monitor the status of transmitters in order to guarantee the stabilization of the broadcast TV system. In the paper, a new site-controller used for monitoring the status of broadcast TV transmitters is introduced, which designed based on Linux and ARM micro-processor. The controller can be used to replace the industrial PC and PLC in the monitoring system, which has many functions, such as acquiring the status parameters, alarming, remote control, network communication etc. The paper described the configurational framework of the broadcasting TV transmitter monitoring system, introduced the hardware and software design of the controller as well as the algorithm to find novelty temporal pattern.
