A noise suppression method is given to process the output signal of fiber optical gyro. In this method, instead of the Mallat algorithm in the traditional wavelet transformation, the lifting scheme was used in the translation-invariant algorithm to improve the computation structure. Theoretically, the new method would reduce the calculating time and improve the accuracy. Experimental results showed that the calculating time of the new method was about 50% of the former.
