Throughout the summer of 2009, Microsoft opened its campus offices around the world to bright and eager high school girls during the company's annual DigiGirlz High Tech Camps. For several days, girls were introduced to the latest innovations in the world of technology. DigiGirlz High Tech Camps' purpose is to dispel myths of what it means to have a career in the high-tech industry and give girls a chance to experience firsthand what it is like to develop cutting-edge technology.
