Layered sensing brings multiple sensors together for situation awareness. A problem exists when attempting to share and view the data among users. Issues include how to access and view data in different formats and what hardware/software is needed for data exploitation. A prototype system was built that brought multiple sensors together in a way that addressed some of these issues. This system incorporated open source software, a data table, and industry software in an effort to build a collaborative visualization tool for layered sensing.
