On behalf of the IEEE SENSORS 2009 Organizing Committee, we present to you the Electronic Proceedings of the Eighth IEEE Sensors Conference 2009 held in Christchurch, New Zealand. This Annual International Conference was established and sponsored by the IEEE Sensors Council, an organization currently consisting of 25 member societies.
