With the rapid development of computer network, more and more physical education (P.E.) institutions upload the cultivating data on the Web servers using Internet for learners to visit. However, since the HTML documents are display-oriented, the teaching resources become small-scale shared and communicated. Now the XML technology becomes an effective way to solve this problem because of its capacity to describe data. In this paper, a remote education system is designed by using of the combined technology of processing Web data based on XML and agent technology. The paper mainly discussed the features, architecture and technology-related of Multi-Agent system and the XML-related technologies, and also includes the establishment of the data model, the meanings of data storage, the transforms and transmission of data and so on. An individualized long-distance P. E. educational system based on XML, which is empowered with a strong capacity of interchanging data cross-platform and much intelligence, is obtained by JSP, SQL Server, etc. From these views, the thesis described the cooperation technology and communication mechanism and KQML language of multi-agent system, and explored the feasibility on useful utility of the agent-tech.
