The problem of the stability of fuzzy systems with interval time-varying delay is addressed. The time-delay is assumed to belong to a given interval. The systems are approximated by Takagi-Sugeno(T-S)fuzzy models with interval time-varying delay. A Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, which is based on both the lower and upper bounds of interval time-varying delay, is proposed to derive a less conservative delay-dependent stability criteria. A numerical example is also given to show the effectiveness of the proposed stability criteria.
