Described in this paper is the flow of a viscous, non-compressible liquid with a property of electric current conduction, inside a channel with a rapidly expanded section, in an external magnetic field (B&oarr; 0). A description is made using two vector potentials (A&oarr;, Ψ&oarr;), and the vorticity vector (ξ&oarr;), which form a system of three simultaneous, quasilinear equations of the elliptic type. An approximation is applied by constructing an iterative, finite difference algorithm for obtaining discrete value distribution of the above fields
