This paper evaluates the advantages of using phase-coded pulse compression technique for radar systems. A matched filter using mathematical models has been successfully implemented, and various simulations were done to evaluate the radar system's performance under noisy environment and its resistance to jamming. All simulations of transmission and reception of radar signals were done using the Signal Processing Worksystem (SPW) COMDISCO software
