Technical artifacts and mental concepts that help to master, and make sense of, the flood of information surrounding us are vital. This article, based on the 1998 IFIP "History in the Computing Curriculum" report, and existing methods of history didactics, proposes incorporating computing history in secondary schools' informatics curricula. The suggestions made here can be adopted, and adapted, for any informatics curriculum.
