This paper studies the problem of designing Hinfin controllers for networked control systems (NCSs) with both network-induced time delay and packet disordering. A delay switching-based method is proposed to model the NCSs with long time delay as switched systems, then by an algorithm involving convex optimisation, Hinfin controllers are designed by using the proposed delay switching-based method and the existing parameter uncertainty-based method. Then, prediction-based method is presented to compensate time delay and packet disordering, and Hinfin controller design is proposed by using linear matrix inequality (LMI)-based method. The simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed delay switching-based method and the prediction-based Hinfin controller design.
