The process control requires data management for a strategic behaviour and the uninterrupted maintenance (just in time maintenance). So, it is necessary to assure the system's safety and availability. The fault detection and isolation (FDI) represents the next level up, necessary for the realisation of robust and fault tolerant systems. For this reason, the paper considered the case when one or more actuators are blocked in a fixed position. The immediate goal is to preserve the stability of the process and, if possible, to control it in a slightly degraded manner
