The problems of the input/output decoupling and exact linearization of an induction motor are discussed. A nonlinear decoupling feedback control law and a nonlinear coordinate change are obtained by means of the method of differential geometry. This control method was successfully implemented in the system by using a microcontroller based on a 16-bit single-chip 8096 microprocessor
