In this paper we present a method for calculating the exact blocking probability in WDM rings with full, ubiquitous wavelength conversion under Poissonian, homogeneous traffic with any spatial profile. A new scalable procedure is presented to derive the normalization constant of the Erlang's classical model for ring networks. In the same analytical framework, formulas are derived for the utilization rate and blocking probability of the ring.
