Circular polarized antenna array using ceramics has been developed for ultra high-speed wireless LAN of 60GHz-band. The antenna has achieved wideband width by three major technologies: original antenna element, laminated waveguide and design method to adjust axial ratio of circular polarization. The antenna element has laminated resonator structure formed by filled via-holes and conductive pattern, which generates wide bandwidth characteristics. Measurement results of 6×8 array shows wide bandwidth of over 4GHz. Sidelobe level is less than -15dB. Gain variation is less than 1dB and axial ratio is less than 3dB.
