The health care sector has been experiencing some difficulty as a result of the implementation of some new principles in planning and management and the continuous accumulation of electronic information. To help ease the situation, the use of an analytical modeling software, called OLAP (online analytical processing), is suggested. With the aid of OLAP, the capability of business analysis is significantly improved in terms of increased operation speed, presentation of the results and operative design of analytical reports.
