All-optical intensity noise suppression of solid-state lasers for optical generation of microwaves

This paper reports on a new all-optical technique of relative intensity noise suppression for solid-state lasers. The new scheme we have used is based on an unbalanced fiber interferometer (UMZ) which is able to cancel the intensity noise peak at relaxation oscillations.
