An intelligent transportation system based on PCI bus and using high speed DSP TMS320C6205 as its key processor is designed. Its architecture, working principle and design method are discussed. An algorithm based on the combination of advanced inter-frame difference and wavelet neural network is presented to detect and classify the moving objects.
