A novel dual-slot antenna is proposed to achieve both harmonic suppression and bandwidth enhancement. To obtain the characteristics of wideband and harmonic suppression, a dual slot structure and conductor line connected with the ground plane are used. From the measured results, it is observed that the second and third harmonics of the proposed antennas are effectively suppressed, and the wide bandwidth, including both IEEE 802. 11a (5.15-5.35 GHz and 5.725-5.825 GHz) and HIPERLAN/2 (5.15-5.35 GHz and 5.470-5.725 GHz) bands, is achieved.
