In this paper, an improved linear multiuser detector is proposed for the problem of multiuser detection in digital communications. In order to perform multiuser detection on-line, an iterative algorithm is presented based on the Jacobi iterative method. The proposed algorithm has not only lower computational complexity but also good performance. The simulation results are presented to support the efficiency of the algorithm.
