A robust downlink power-control approach for mitigating the degradation in the received SINR of a DS-CDMA system due to channel estimates error is proposed. It is shown that designing a robust downlink power-control is equivalent to solving a robust linear-programming power-minimization problem. Simulation results demonstrate the advantage of the proposed method in improving received SINR and reducing outage probability for various data-rate scenarios.
