Reliability and fault tolerance issues in intelligent computing systems

An overview of important technical issues associated with the reliability and fault tolerance of intelligent computing systems is presented. Four specific topics are covered, including : (1) fundamental concepts in fault-tolerant computing, (2) dependability measures, (3) fault tolerance in real-time systems, and (4) fault tolerance in neural networks. Basic concepts in fault-tolerant computing and dependability analysis are discussed, with a specific focus on fault tolerance and analysis of real-time systems and neural networks.<
