An experience with first year physics science students at the University of Murcia is presented. Six credits (60 hours) are assigned to introduce Information and Communication Technologies as a powerful tool to improve the teaching-learning process of scientific material as a support to the general physics theoretical lectures. Graphic environments to develop interactive simulations allows concentrating the effort in the model of the problem, they ease the creation of interactive graphic interfaces to people with a little knowledge in software development. Many physics topics can be simulated using these tools and basic principles of numerical computation.
