This paper provides a summary of current electrical insulation impregnation processes and systems. An overview will be presented of the various impregnation processes; more importantly, the paper will explain how impregnation systems have been adapted to meet the processes and electrical insulating resins currently available. A discussion of current processes and impregnation system automation concepts and the related processes will also be presented.
