The realization of high quality reinforcement for live concert performance has created its own special requirements. These requirements are outlined. The system used must satisfy these requirements without compromise. A mixer, power amplifier, and speaker system designed specifically for live performance on a medium scale are discussed. Design of each component and its relationship to a complete system are detailed.
