The problem of using the moment method to approximate a power density spectrum by impulses on the jω axis is discussed, it is shown that Prony's algorithm is suitable for determination of the impulse parameters and that their frequencies are equal to the frequencies of the zeros in a certain analog minimum output power filter. An analogy with Pisarenko spectrum analysis is proposed.
