A E2PROM is an ideal nonvolatile memory device which can be electrically erased and programmed. Two broad application fields have demanded a wide operating voltage range and low power consumption E2PROM. One is the field of the IC cards. A great number of the IC cards having the E'PROM for satisfying the demand for their data reliability have been announced.
