A knowledge-based simulation that models a modern home data communication network using the new CEBus procedures and protocols contained in the CEBus Standard is described. The tool used is Intellicorp's Knowledge Engineering Environment (KEE), augmented with their Simulation Kit (SimKit) and Queuing Library (QLIB). Object-oriented representation issues are discussed, as well as the resulting structure of the CEBus model
