We show that all-pass filters based on multistage ring resonators can be used to perform optical signal processing. In particular, using numerical simulations, we demonstrate their use for performing real-time Fourier transformation and for pulse repetition rate multiplication (temporal Talbot effect) simultaneously over multiple wavelength signals.
