In order to face increasing electric power exchanges, the interconnection of networks appears an adequate solution. Associated technical problems (such as deregulated electrical networks) must be taken into account in the conception of any system of electric power transmission. In particular, physical behaviour of a transmission line must be viewed in order to include it in any system of control. In this paper, specific modelling of a transmission line is developed and an example of such a control system is presented.
