Gaza strip and its major cities such as Gaza and Jericho are very old and heavily populated areas. Hence, building a modem infrastructure for such area is very complicated and, surely very demanding. Gaza Municipality as well as Rafah Municipality are building and developing a geo-spatial information system suitable for GIS and other planning processes. The main objectives are managing the natural resources, land use, transportation and urban facilities. An example of that is to improve the collection of tax revenues on land and buildings. The paper summarizes the first phase of the project success for Gaza City, in terms of data collection, evaluation and fusion, from all resources such as: digitized hardcopy cadastral maps, softcopy (AutoCAD) cadastral maps, digital orthophotos and availability of suitable satellite images
