Passive sensing of radio signals in automated HF systems and the updating of off-line prediction models

The authors present examples of an experimental study into passive sensing of radio signals in determining HF ionospheric propagation conditions. The study investigates the monitoring of such signals and their use in improving off-line prediction models and the subsequent use of such information in automated HF systems.<
