Proposes efficient spatial and temporal resolution controlling methods for the time series of remote sensing images based on a 3D wavelet transform. For fast archiving and retrieving of the images, incremental decomposition of multi-resolution representation, and spatially and temporally local reconstruction are also proposed. The efficiencies of the methods are evaluated through simulations
