The complex-valued collaborative coding multiple access (CV_CCMA) scheme has been proposed as a viable method, for enabling simultaneous transmission by multiple users over a common radio channel, without the use of orthogonal codes nor subdivisions in time or frequency. This paper investigates the use of forward error correction to improve the performance of CV_CCMA in Rayleigh fading channels. T-user M-PSK CV_CCMA schemes employing block coding are described. The simulation results show the significant gains achieved using short linear block codes and dual space diversity
