The main proposal of this paper is to present details referred to the modeling and the performance of the naturally saturated reactors, considering the parallel connection of their windings. Such devices must promote voltage stabilization and reactive power flow, control in EHV and UHV transmission systems, in replacement of the conventional linear reactors. The leading result that this change brings is the improvement of the transmission capacity of the long lines and thus the effectiveness of the transmission systems. Digital models for saturated reactors were especially developed to EMTP-ATP program simulation from their electrical circuit. Through the magnetic flux waves obtained from EMTP-ATP, the major contribution of each winding connection over the generation of current pulses in each phase of the reactor was analyzed, as well over the composition of the total reactor current
