An improved method for the mesh termination in the finite-difference solution of scattering problems

An improved boundary condition for truncating finite difference (FD) meshes has been presented. In this method, the interaction between a boundary node and its neighbor nodes is determined through an iterative scheme. The numerical convergence is improved by combining more nodes in the boundary equations.
