Technology tradeoffs in the design of high performance analog to digital converters

A variety of communications systems benefit from the use of high performance data converters. This is the case for digital radio receivers used in cellular telephone base stations and wireless broadband applications. This paper investigates the key technology trade-offs for analog to digital converters.
