The purpose of this paper is to present a new current controller applied to a four-branch inverter shunt active filter in unbalanced and nonsinusoidal conditions. It is based on a space vector generalization using Scott's transformation that is able to decrease the relationship between do and ac voltage. For controlling the active filter the UPF control method based on the time domain analysis is used
