Summary form only given. Single-frequency, tunable, MWIR laser sources are critical components for coherent stand off sensors as well as other high resolution spectroscopic applications. These stand off sensors are used in a variety of applications that include detection and monitoring of atmospheric constituents, chemical and biological warfare agents, and Doppler wind measurements. We describe a system of two PPLN-based optical parametric oscillators (OPOs) in master oscillator/slave oscillator (MO/SO) configuration that provides pulsed, narrow-band, singlefrequency MWIR radiation to be used for coherent differential absorption lidar (DIAL) applications.
