A method is presented for calculating the Jc, B, T surface for commercial niobium titanium superconductor given Tc, Bc2 and Jc over a range B at a given temperature. The Jc calculated as a function of B and T agrees with measured values of Jc quite well over a range of T from 1.5 K to 7 K and a range of B from 0.1 T to 10 T. The values of Jc given by this theory are good enough to be used to calculate the performance of superconducting magnets at temperatures other than 4.2 K, and the theory can be used to predict the magnetization effects of superconductors over a wide range of temperatures and inductions
