In general, embedded systems have limited memory spaces and their applications require real-time performance. The Java virtual machine for embedded information appliances should be designed with consideration of these restrictions. This paper presents appropriate modifications and methods to reshape the genetic Java virtual machine to a real-time Java virtual machine for embedded information appliances that run reasonably well under harsh conditions of the embedded systems and also meets the requirements of real-time performance
