Summary form only given. For massive WDM systems, the use of chirped RZ modulation format has proved to be remarkably successful. Careful modeling of such high capacity systems becomes increasingly important. As full numerical simulations are prohibitively time consuming, new time efficient approaches are needed. In this paper we use our approach to calculate collision induced timing jitter (CITJ) for chirped RZ WDM systems and find the results in good agreement with data from full numerical simulations.
